Since there was the Hologram Tupac at this year's Coachella, I thought I'd post about HATSUNE MIKU , the world's first Hologram Popstar. Crazy. I hope my great-great grandchildren will be attending Hologram Iron Maiden concerts.... that, or Ronnie James Dio returns as prophesied, bringing with him long-departed Metal Gods, and my descendants can just watch them live on Mars.

Check out these He-Man designs WILLIAM STOUT did back in 1985! I dig em... they have a nice "Moebius feel"... maybe some Art Adams & George Perez... and you can see similar stylings in later works by Brom & Frank Quitely, I think.

Foamfoot - Crows From The Closet (Jan 8th, 1994 Troubadour)

Foamfoot is a cover band that did a one-off show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
They played mostly seventies classics (from Free, The Kinks, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, etc) and were formed by Black Crowes members Chris Robinson and Marc Ford that
had with them Jimmy Ashurst, Eric Bobo, Gary Louris and Andy Sturmer.

The Gaslight Anthem - Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany (2010)

First time here, and hopefully not the last, for The Gaslight Anthem, band from New Jersey whose main influences are often referenced as a mix between Bruce Springsteen and the New Jersey punk scene.
They are planning to release their fourth album with the name Handwritten around next summer. This show presented here dates from August 2010 and was recorded at the Taubertal Festival in Rothenburg

Now that The Black Keys are hailed as one of the best rock acts around, and with justice, it's a good time to go back on their career to one of the three Peel Session the band/duo did (all during 2003).
This is the one at the Old Corn Market, Brighton on October 28, 2003, with less than 30 minutes but intense and raw as they always are.
