One of our top bands, Jethro Tull, is again with us, this time with a Supergroups In Concert recording from The Broadsword and the Beast German tour.
The songs were captured live in cities such as Freiburg, Ravensburg and Stuttgart in April 1982.

Lionize – Superczar And The Vulture (2011)

"Superczar And The Vulture" é o segundo álbum do grupo Lionize (USA). O disco é um registro impressionante, pois une gêneros aparentemente díspares.

A gravação traz um híbrido de reggae, funk, hard/blues rock e groove/stoner numa fusão absurdamente coerente e, acima de tudo, arrebatadora.

Nada aqui é ruim, nem está fora de lugar e mesmo com toda a resistência que tenho em relação ao reggae tive que me render a essa amálgama construída de modo tão criativo.

 Fãs de Gov’t mule vão se regozijar.

Toot and a Snore - McCartney and Lennon (1974)

McCartney e Lennon se reuniram rapidamente para uma jam session em estúdio em 1974 que também contou com a presença de Stevie Wonder, Harry Nillson, Linda McCartney e Bobby Keys. "Estávamos chapados”, McCartney conta sobre a sessão, que foi imortalizada na forma desse bootleg Toot and a Snore.

"Eu acho que não tinha ninguém naquele estúdio que não estivesse chapado. Por alguma razão bizarra, decidi assumir a bateria. Era só uma festa, sabe. Usar a palavra ‘desorganizado’ seria subestimar completamente. Pode ser que eu tenha feito uma tentativa fraquinha de restaurar a ordem – "pessoal, sabe, vamos pensar em uma música, essa seria uma boa ideia' – mas não consigo lembrar se fiz isso mesmo ou não."

This performance was captured at the Sports Stadium in Orlando, Florida on May 8, 1973. In January, this same year, the band had put out a classic double live album simply called Recorded Live.
